As a grandmom to five wonderful kids, I wouldn't for a minute hesitate to condemn the use of children in pornography. But at the same time, I see the importance of not driving the offenders into hiding.
With a very strongly emotive subject like this, and many of the offenders are intractable, a knee-jerk reaction is natural. But we still need to know where the offenders are (and don't count on the national sex offenders registry being up-to-date).
